Young Mind Community Center (YMCC) brings together the best of two worlds: clinical expertise in autism and excellence in early childhood education to provide a comprehensive, transdisciplinary approach that delivers the best possible outcomes.
Young Mind Community Center (YMCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of joining inclusive early childhood education with excellence in and access to early autism identification and intervention. YMCC is dedicated to supporting the development and well-being of all young children and families through educational, therapeutic, and community-based programs. The inclusive preschool at YMCC is a licensed childcare facility through the Arizona Department of Health Services that serves children ages 18 months through 5 years and provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for all children to learn and grow. Through our programs, we aim to empower families and strengthen the community by ensuring every child, regardless of socioeconomic status, has access to high quality early childhood education and professional services they need to achieve their greatest potential
YMCC serves children and families in need through the provision of preschool scholarships, developmental screenings, and comprehensive developmental evaluations. Our mission is to ensure that all children have access to high quality early education and professional services when needed to ensure they are meeting their developmental milestones. We also provide comprehensive developmental evaluations for children under the age of 5 years who are uninsured or have an insurance plan through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
The Young Mind Community Center is an IRS Section 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO) registered with the Arizona Department of Revenue (QCO Code 22206). The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit offers taxpayers a dollar-for-dollar reduction state income taxes owed. In 2025, the maximum credit is $495 if filing single/unmarried head of household and $987 if married and filing jointly. Donations must be received by April 15 to receive credit for the previous year. The QCO tax credit can be claimed in addition to the AZ Public School and School Tuition Organization tax credits.
